Mission
At iGolf4VETS, our mission is to promote diversity, equality, and inclusion by providing veterans and their families from all backgrounds a therapeutic outlet to address mental health disorders and suicide prevention. Through the sport of golf, we aim to foster a sense of belonging while educating on VA Programs and supporting a community that embraces diversity and equality.
Vision
As a Veteran-led organization with a focus on minority representation, our vision is to serve as a source of inspiration, education, and empowerment for Veterans across diverse backgrounds grappling with mental health challenges and thoughts of suicide. We aim to leverage resources provided by VA Programs and partner with organizations to create a supportive network that addresses the unique needs of every veteran in our community.
Firearm and Safety Training
Background
The Beans & Bullets event was created in 2018 by Edwin Epperson and a few of his cigar aficionados from Holy Smokes, a Tampa Christian Cigar Club. As a military Veteran and Green Beret, Edwin desired to instruct and teach his friends about safe weapons handling and proper shooting techniques. This has grown into a bi-annual event attracting dozens of families and their children. Edwin’s company, Blue Bay Fund I, sponsors the Mexican lunch that is catered by a Dade City family-owned restaurant so that 100% of all ticket sales go to the events identified as non-profit.
No Experience is needed, and no weapon is required. If you simply want to show up, enjoy Mexican food and fellowship, there will be PLENTY of weapons to try from all our attendees. We only ask that you bring ammunition of whatever type of gun you would like to shoot.

Goal
Provide education and experience on the safe handling and shooting of firearms, and fellowship among the veteran & local communities, families, and friends. Our goal is to have fun while being safe, appreciate our 2nd Amendment Rights, and fellowship with those in attendance.
iGolf4VETS, Inc. receives 100% of the proceeds raised.
